Hi how is the print output..of both

After I installed it I extracted the file and clicked yes but nothing pops up after that.

When I do this exact process step by step my paper sheets come out blank. No error message nothing. Anyone have an idea? Thanks..

URGENT!! I'm at the point where I was suppose to charge the printer with ink and hit the ok button. The printer started priming the printer with no Ink in the printer. I shut off the printer and I'm trying to get back to the screen where it will sayl "the process may take up to 72 mins to complete." When I got back through the menus, the printer skips that point. Now the printer thinks I'm refilling due to ink consumption. The tanks have never been primed. Is there a way I can reset the printer to band new mode and start over again? I currently have the tanks filled up to the top line and printer is off.

Hello there. So I am facing the same problem here if you could help I would really appreciate. As epson support didn't. So I have bought cartridge but p6000 doesn't see it. But I cannot update firmware as well because it demands in menu to change cartridge otherwise I cannot access the menu. And Cartridge is not recognized by printer :) thank you in advance.

Yes, this could be very BAD advise. Canon Ink costs a ton, and this machine dumps a significant amount into the maintenance cartridge each time it power cycles after it's been off for more than a day. You could literally put more ink into the trash then you do onto paper depending on how often yo run it. These are NOT two major settings. The more important ones are located under the maintenance settings for how often it auto cleans etc. True those off to save ink.

I tried updating, but the update fails at 16% (tried both USB and Ethernet) with a message complaining about the USB/Ethernet not being connected.

Interesting how they say fill to the top line when initially charging the system but subsequent fills should not excede 2/3. Wonder why ???

Thanks for this - helpful in setting up my Pro-2600. Just a few differences, but overall, quite similar. With the new Pro-2600, the stand pieces are UNDER all of the ink cartridges and so on, so it's a little bit of a mess getting those out so the printer can be put on the stand. Also, the Pro-2600 does a self-calibration, so that step isn't necessary - and no paper is included. I suggest getting some Canon paper to do test prints. I got a 24" roll of the Canon Glossy photo paper 240. It is in the printer's data base, so it knows what to do with it. Also, another necessary step is having to download and install the printer driver from Canon's site. I am using it with the ImagePrint RIP v13 (it also controls my Graphtec CE-7000-60 cutter), and it does a great job. Moving up from a 15 yr old Epson 4880, so I'm a little blown away. But wanted to say thanks for the video!

Hello, I am about to buy an Epson d1000, it is worth paying for the Epson order controller if I have one printer only at the moment?

This is my 4 year review. I FINALLY changed my print head. I got a little more than 3.5 years out of it. 2 trillion dots or about 1000 square meters of printing. I am under the impression this is very good for a print head. About a year before failure I had to do more head cleaning. Still have not had a tech out. 4 years and I still recommend

Does the Firmware update allow me to use the old ink concurrently withe the new ink? I have a good supply of the old ink and will likely be adding the new ink only as needed. I am afraid to do the update for fear of rendering all my old ink supply on hand useless.

Wonderful informative walk through. I wonder if you have any thoughts on the thickness limits of paper used in the tray for cut sheets? I would like to use 60 lb polar white (translates to .188 mm or 161.78 gsm) paper stacked in the tray. Any thoughts on whether this is acceptable?

Dude, you just saved me a ton of aggravation and money. I get the new ink, go to switch blacks, and it doesn't recognize it. I'm thinking it's a bad chip. Tried restarting, etc. So there was no mention from Epson about this (to me), no mention on the website where I order my ink, and the issue didn't show up right away in a google search. I was lucky enough to search for firmware updates and found your video. Wish I could buy you a beer.

Very helpful... but what about this: One of my cartridges has run empty and needs to be changed. I have the new ink (with the new chip that requires the firmware update). So, with the old ink I am getting a "Change Ink" error, but if I put in the new ink I am getting an "Ink Missing" error. Both of which seem to fail the update at 16%. Any ideas?
